Homework
Homework each night is left to the individual class teacher’s professional discretion. Each teacher will outline their expectations at the beginning of each year.
Homework should not be a stressful matter, for either students or parents. Homework will usually be work similar to that already completed in class. If there are any problems, these can be easily solved with open and timely communications with the teacher. Students will generally receive homework four nights a week, with the amount of homework increasing as students progress through the grades. In your child’s best interests, we ask that parents ensure ALL homework is completed in a satisfactory manner and signed by either parent.
Beside set written work, parents are asked to encourage:-

- participation in school’s “Read with Me” home reading incentive program;
- revision study;
- hobbies;
- discussion; and
- critical thinking skills.
